  1. Hi there! Is there any particular point where you begin disassemblying the headset? I know those holding points are too fragile, so I wouldn't like to break them...

  2. Dear Castaneda!! After warming by dryer, only slide a cutter knife or a flat-head screwdriver into a gap.

    1. Hello!
I already disposed the original battery.
      However, I noted it's size was 10x20x3 mm (3.7V, 90mA).
I wish that I could be of help to you.

  6. Thanks for the info on the earpiece. Are the battery terminals on the headset label pos/neg or red/black?

  7. Are you able to identify the size of the screw on the ear piece part of the unit? This is what I need to replace on mine at this time. Thank you!!

  8. was able to open my cover with a hot hairdryer and then squeezing a cutter knife in carefully. Writing on battery: Synergy 0.3WH AHB481221PR 3.7V 90mAh MH10048-H11
you can easily order replacement with Aliexpress, just search for "battery 401020" or "battery 041020". This one would 4x10x20mm, and should be able to fit in. But I have not tried it yet - original battery is slightly thicker than 3mm and has a foam coating in addition.

    1. Have you tried the battery yet? I found it on Alibaba but it shows 150mAh when the OE was 90mAh

    2. just installed a 5x12x21 (501221) 90mAh battery from Aliexpress. fits and works fine!

  9. Probably the original writing means that the battery is 4.8mmx12mmx21mm, but only a 501221 is available on Aliexpress (would be 0.2mm thicker), but I am not sure whether this is true.

  10. I am suspecting the battery but not sure. Has anyone found the on/off switch online? If so please post link.
When I attempt to charge I get a blinking green light. I cannot find anywhere online with the diagnosis for that. With everyone swapping battery I figured to try it out.

    1. My friend had what I think is the same issue you have (and I am currently having as well). He said it was the power switch that needed fixed. He fixed his, then super-glued it together. He said if it breaks again, he's not fixing it anymore.

    2. try some noncorrosive contact spray like isopropanol into the switch (better from inside, but could also work from outside. My headset stopped that spurious connect/disconnect thing then and works fine.

  17. Did that beats battery work out? I can find the battery online for real, matching numbers, but it comes in 5.3mm thickness and 5.5mm thickness, and if it matters I'm not sure which one is right. But if yours worked, from beats, I'd sure love to hear it! Thank you!

  18. What I don't understand is the beats battery has three wires, the one pictured here two, I cannot exactly reconcile that. appreciate all the help! Thank you.
